"What a wonderful stay at an incredible property. We loved it and our dogs loved it. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning and sharing this stunning property with friends and family. .can't wait to return. Was lovely to meet the owner James who was an absolute gentleman. Thanks so much I have a travel business and am lucky enough to stay in some of the best hotels in the world and this place was on a par with some of them. The cottage was really beautiful but the grounds are something else. Don't hesitate to book this place. You will not regret it!"

"The cottage is in an ideal location, with fantastic views out over the sea and over to France, and you can go for walks from the front door without needing the car. The Smugglers Inn and village shop are within walking distance and both are excellent for food and supplies. You can also walk down to St Margaret’s Bay to the beach and the Coastguard pub for food, also excellent. We had a lovely holiday and I would recommend this as a place to stay."

"We love staying at The Cottage! It is a home away from home that feels comfortable from the moment you walk in. We have stayed several times and have never been disappointed. On this recent trip, we parked our car, unloaded our bags and didn't get in the car again until we left. We walked everywhere, ate at the cafe/tea room and at the Coastguard Pub as well as bought simple food for easy meals at home in the village shop. We stayed in a different bedroom than we normally use, because it had a TV for some late night comedy or news as we readied for bed. The wood burner in the lounge kept things cozy and warm. We always wish we could stay longer when we stay at The Cottage. Henry, the host, is always so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go again and are very grateful to be able to spend time in this lovely home!"

"Bowden Lodge was the perfect property for our family get together of four generations. Having a downstairs bedroom with en suite and easy access to the living room and games room which in turn had easy access to the wonderful garden was ideal for our 96 year old great Nan The enormous garden was enjoyed by everyone for ball games, sitting and chatting and barbecuing in the evening. We had fantastic weather which was a bonus. Short walk to the beach and local pubs meant driving could be kept to a minimum. Highly recommend and would love to return when the pool is in use."
