Very welcoming and helpful staff, generous (complimentary bottled water and toiletries), tasty breakfast. Parking was easy with their anpr voucher system. Great value for money in the heart of Canterbury. Would happily stay her again."

"We loved staying here. It really had a mix of modern and historical. Felt like a proper English hotel and had a tub in our room!! Hard to find in Europe. There was some construction but it wasn’t impacting our experience and it’s obvious they’re reinvesting in the property and up keep which makes me know I would want to stay there again in years to come. "Great location for me, within walking distance of all the major sites, plenty of dining options nearby, the building itself was a treat! Staff was helpful. I was having a minor laundry emergency (a previous booking didn't have laundry services as advertised) and they were kind enough to accommodate me quickly and efficiently. The only down sides were seasonal. Our stay coincided with high temperatures and our room was stuffy, which is completely understandable, but the windows were not screened....
"The location is in the no-cars zone, plan ahead carefully if you drive. The building is very old, as is to be expected for the area, but well maintained. Easy walking to all attractions and lots of dining options."

"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through...
"What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...
"A fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke William’👏👏 "
