"You get what you pay for. Overall, wasnt horrible, a budget friendly place to stay for some sleep. Pictures from online are incredibly edited to look far more vibrant. Bed was about as hard as the floor. Looks like a revamped motel, and the area seems sketchy off a little side road. A few vending machines outside the main office. Closest place to eat is about 10 mins, limited options."

"We had a great stay for a family event. The location was perfect for us, as our daughter lives just a few blocks away. The home was clean, well supplied, and comfortable for our group. We had a minor issue with check in due to a paperwork glitch, but Navah's sister straightened everything out promptly and graciously (thanks!). I highly recommend this home and any other properties managed by Navah and her team."

"What a special experience! The Carriage House was as described and much more. It reminded us of our family mountain log cabin that was built in 1934 which we restored 20 years ago. Terrific host, immaculate and one of a kind. We highly recommend."

"This precious cottage is comfortable, well-stocked with kitchen and bath essentials, excellent tv and streaming, parking, cozy beds, outside areas, and was an excellent location for us visiting family over the Christmas holiday! We will absolutely book another stay when we visit our family there. The hosts were welcoming, available if needed, and had even decorated the cottage for Christmas, a most delightful touch!!!"

"My husband needed to go to Duke for a challenging three-month medical procedure, so we searched for a place that felt like "home" but was close to the hospital and his cancer clinic. This house — about 9 minutes from the medical facilities — fit our needs perfectly. The open kitchen-dining-living space was comfortable, and our dog loved the fenced-in back yard. There is one bedroom and one full bathroom on the first floor, and two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the second floor, so we were also able to carve out private spaces and accommodate a caregiver part of the time. Although the house is on a busy road, it is set back, and the deck looks out onto a nice patch of trees. We rarely glimpsed the neighbors on either side. One of the best parts of the location is that you can walk down the residential streets on either side of the property and drop down onto a path by a sweet little creek. That path connects with a beautiful trail along the Eno River. Both are great for dog walking or just human walking. So many deer! (In one direction you do have to walk along the busy road for a short distance to get to the side street, but the landlord gave us permission to walk through the adjoining yard in the other direction, as she owns that property too.) Random tip: Don't miss the Durham Farmers Market! The only other thing I can think to mention is that there IS a dishwasher; we weren't sure from the listing and photos. We would definitely stay here again. "
