"Great location near Paddington Station; very helpful staff (maneuvered the rooms around to let us have a very early check-in, with no charge, after an overnight flight from the US); very clean room with good housekeeping. They didn't provide many towels but readily gave us extras when asked. Very good value."

"The breakfast buffet was pretty good actually better than expected. Although the hotel is nice, it’s getting pretty rundown. A lot of things were over used. The housekeeping staff had much to be desired a couple of days they didn’t come to clean our room at least until 5 o’clock, which was kind of annoying. They did not have any attention to detail not replacing empty boxes of tissue, not replacing empty containers of lotion. One day we requested Non down pillows and it took two days to get them even though we asked housekeeping we asked the front desk we asked concierge services. It took forever to get them. The location is great if you want to use the tube at Edgware station."

"I was only in London for 2 nights one day and wanted to be close to Paddington train station - I booked the small double as its only me and I wanted to keep my $ for the rest of the trip. It's hard to rate this place- staff were all very lovely and helpful, location is excellent, room very clean and for the tiny space was well thought out, bed comfy and I could open the windows which is great I have sleeping in aircon. Negatives I was in the basement - no lift and very very steep stairs - I use a walking stick after a double hip replacement this hotel is no good if you have any kind of disability. In the basement you hear everything in the room above and I really don't need to hear a couple bonking at 2am !!! Also Unfortunately the Paddington underground trains rock the basement and are loud so 6am ! You are awake and not asleep till around 10pm Still for an economic short stay in London It clean comfy and in a great location- maybe check you are not in the basement if you book!"

"We stayed for 2 nights as we were here for the marathon weekend. Very close to Paddington station. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Reception smelt amazing as you walked in the door. Our first room was small. Bathroom door hit the bed. Small gap to walk through. Storage was an issue. Nowhere to put anything. TV didnt work and was tiny. We mentioned this to reception and the next morning they moved us. Second room was lovely. Spacious. Loads more storage and more modern. Huge TV. Both bathrooms were modern and new however. Under floor heating in both. Would stay here again if we had our second room for sure."
