"We loved the room that we stayed in. It was recently decorated in greys and pastel pinks. The room felt spacious and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower. The full English breakfast was cooked to order and as you would expect but I would have liked the option of fruit or rolls or pastries. The owner was courteous and friendly. "Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore."

"Had a lovely 4 night break at this hotel. Gareth & Lara were very wecoming & nothing was too much trouble for them. Great choice on menu for breakfast which was delicious. Lovely patio area overlooking countryside & view from our room overlooking the quay. Room was clean & comfortable. Free parking spaces.Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."
