"during our stay there’s not much people in the beach since that was the time when flooding occurred in some neighboring area. Quite and peaceful the kids enjoyed so much!"

"Staff was friendly, room could have been cleaned better, but overall stay was excellent. Our room was as soon as you came off of the elevator so we heard everything and in the morning it was very loud from staff. That was the only fustrating thing from the stay."

"It is always scary to choose a beach experience for the first time. Therefore, we really felt like we struck gold with The Ellie Resort. Beach view, cleanliness of room, food & drink options, helpfulness of staff, that magnificent pier — all exceeded our expectations. Only two suggestions: Free coffee in the lobby is a must for a hotel of this quality; and (traveling with a friend in a wheel chair), larger parking spaces that are better protected from the elements would be appreciated. With that said, however, we cannot wait to come back to Myrtle Beach, and, when we do, The Ellie will be our lodging choice! Jim Mitchell"
