"From check in to check out great customer service. Helpful and friendly staff. Price well worth it.Beauriful and clean ,rooms and property. Main restaurant,Calabash had friendly staff and the food was premium. The gym outstanding. Love the game room option . The spa and staff was excellent. The only reason I took off 1 star was the beach. Which the hotel.has no control over, but the seaweed was terrible ans I love going swimming. Other than that the absolute best stay. Easy walk to the main road where one can easily get a maxi taxi to various stores and the city. Pr the fish festival. If you prefer you can get a taxi right at the door or the staff will call one for you. You can also schedule a pick up on the day of your departure"

"A great modern hotel right on the beach. not far from the airport, not far from the city, just right geographically :) The rooms are comfortable, all overseeing the ocean. Nice balconies to relax. Cozy inner space with a relaxing pool, great atmosphere with the live music DAILY, even if you are not at the restaurant, you can enjoy it from your balcony. The beach gets raked daily, beach chairs and umbrellas are set up by 7am. Safe and near the bar/resto area if you are up for a dinner/drink. The reception were great helping with all the small and big things."

"If you want quiet, stay here. The rooms are outdated but clean. Most staff were very friendly. The food is amazing but depending on how many people are staying, the buffet is not always open. The beach was full of seaweed but they took us to their sister hotel in a van and the beach there was wonderful. I wanted to upgrade our room and emailed them but got no reply. The place was empty so I am sure I could have been accommodated."

"Waves was the best choice for us! The resort was beautiful and well maintained. Our ocean front room was absolutely amazing! The ocean in Barbados is one of the best! Our hotel was on the west side, which has brilliant calm, blue seas. They had water sports included as well as all inclusive. Only 2 restaurants on site, but they had a water taxi running most of the day that we could use for a day pass at 4 other Marriott resorts. Many evenings they had live music. The Spa was really good with wonderful staff: Janine and Sheena! The staff were hands down amazing! They catered to us like we were royalty. My partner celebrated his birthday during our stay and was treated like a king. The staff was extremely friendly. We can’t remember all the names but here are a few that made our stay memorable: Crystal, Loreal, Kevin, Devan, Charlene, Valerie, Jennifer and many more! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. We hope to return!!"
