"This apartment is a lovely base for exploring Carcassonne, with a very traditional French feel and beautiful features like the shutters. It felt more like staying in someone’s home than a standard holiday let, which we really enjoyed - the books, games, and personal touches made it feel welcoming and lived-in.The location overlooking Place Carnot is very central and convenient, with plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants right on your doorstep. It does mean the square can be quite lively and noisy, especially in the evenings and early mornings (including cleaning and recycling activities), so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, and Kaye was very responsive and helpful before and during our visit."

"The hotel is very convenient for accessing the fortress, shops & restaurants. It is right across the street from the wall & very close to the gate without the long uphill walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean. The shower was a little small but fine & there was also a free standing tub. We would definitely stay there again."
