"We love this hotel. It’s the second time we have stayed here when visiting Amsterdam. The hotel has a lovely vibe. Can’t quite put my finger on why. The rooms are spacious and the bar and restaurant facilities of a high standard. The hotel is close to a metro rail stop and makes accessing by public transport easy. On the outskirts of the city a little but so easy to get to. Will probably always stay here whenever we are in Amsterdam."

"We arrived early for our stay (due to an early flight). We stored our luggage for free in the luggage store. We had a slight concern about the room as it wasn't locked, but it was directly opposite reception, so hopefully any 'dodgy' characters may have been noticed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a decent size for the 2 of us, and was clean. We had chosen not to have the room cleaned during our stay, and were surprised to find this entitled us to discount vouchers for the restaurant in the adjoining Holiday Inn (the Express has breakfast facilities, but doesn't cater for evening meals). We had one meal in the restaurant, which was good - fairly expensive, but the vouchers made it more reasonable. The 'free' breakfast choice was reasonable - continental, scrambled egg, toast, yogurt, fruit etc. The location is good. Generally a quiet area. It's a short walk to the nearby station, with a short journey to the main tourist areas. Would definitely recommend."

"The staff arranged a lovely surprise for our arrival to celebrate my husband’s birthday, which was very thoughtful and heartwarming. The room was clean and spacious, although there was some mold around the shower caulking. Other than that, the room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were professional and well trained. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from RAI Station, which was very convenient for getting to both Central Station and the airport. There is also a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, but not much else nearby. However, this didn’t bother us at all. We stayed during a heatwave, and the room didn’t get as cool as we would have liked because the temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The staff kindly offered to move us to a room on the other side of the building, but we decided to stay in our original room. Overall, we had a very good stay and would definitely recommend this hotel."
