Cute little cabin, super rustic. Reminds me of staying with my grandparents in the WV mountains. We had an avoidable issue, but the owners were quick to fix it fairly. It's really close to all sorts of hiking, and there were plenty of local places to eat. The hot tub was great for unwinding. The kitchen had pretty much everything you'd need for basic cooking. If you're planning on cooking up a storm, bring your own stuff. What they had was fine for standard meals. The bathroom did its job, kind of small but Im 6'5" so take that with a grain of salt. We're planning to stay again this fall to see the color and make use of the firepit area.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to stay in this cabin due to a winter storm and icy conditions that made it inaccessible. However, we were accommodated at Whisker Ridge instead, where we still had a great time. We were honestly pretty disappointed not to get the specific cabin we had carefully chosen for our trip. That said, the house was very clean. The hot tub was great, though accessing it was a bit difficult due to the small outdoor steps and we did have a fall. The beds were fairly comfortable overall, but the pillows in the master bedroom were extremely firm. We ended up swapping them out and using extra pillows from the other rooms.Despite those minor issues, we really did enjoy our stay. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to experience the cabin we originally planned for.
We had a wonderful time and the cabin was awesome! Very clean, had most of the necessary cooking tools you’ll need, spacious, and secluded from other campers. Would absolutely recommend and would 100% stay here again!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. Hot tub was perfect and cabin had everything we needed. No complaints from this couple and we will definitely be back!
I would recommend this cabin, it is perfect for a couple or a family of 4, me and my wife enjoyed our stay with our dogs. Very clean and everything was in good work condition. We will definitely come back for another weekend getaway.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Not as secluded as we thought it may be but never ran into anyone during our visit. Very close to several fun attractions and good places to eat.
Our stay at this cabin was exactly what we needed. It was easy to find, close to the Red River Gorge attractions we were there to experience, and a comfortable place to relax. We would definitely book again.
We had a great time enjoying the fall colors. Who knew Kentucky was so beautiful.
Cabin was located close to so many fun things to do. The cabin is on beautiful property with views down the hill.
This cabin was perfectly located up on a hill, surrounded by trees. Great outdoor space. Loved using the hot tub and fire pit. Located close to many trails and things to do with kids. Would absolutely return!
We loved staying at Beary Secluded. It was a perfect place for a little get away. Hot tub was great, house was clean and beautiful. Water pressure was great. Upstairs TV in bedroom had a bad connection so did not work, couch was a bit sinky, beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
We really loved this cabin. Lots of natural light and the space had a warm atmosphere. The hot tub was clean & stayed hot the whole weekend. Our pup also enjoyed her stay:comfortable places for her to lay and lots of property to explore.
We enjoyed our 4 day stay! Adorable area. Amazing Mexican food just down the road. The cabin has a few things that need improvement but nothing that ruined our stay. The bathroom needs a little TLC, the couch definitely needs a steam cleaner and the deck is dangerously slippery when wet! Our overall stay was great!
We all had such a wonderful time in this quit and secluded little section on the side of the hill. There were other cabins but we never heard nor saw anyone. The cabin was warm and inviting. We would recommend it to friends and family.
My friends & I go on a trip every year & this year we really just wanted to relax and unplug. This cabin was perfect!
We took advantage of the hot tub, made s’mores & read by the fire pit, watched movies…all of the things that a cozy weekend entails. The listing photos are very accurate to how the cabin looks inside and was plenty of room for the 3 of us. We utilized a couple of the local recommendations for food and enjoyed both of those, too. We’d love to go back!
