"Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. "Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"Position - brilliant right in the centre Parking- tight if you can get it, very limited at £15 a night Lift - Main lift not working so spare in use. This is a 2 person for the whole hotel!!! From your floor there is only a call button to go down!! Breakfast is on the fifth. Rooms - Poor. No space to put anything out. Needs a rethink more storage. Decor and carpets need renewing. No storage in bathroom, Nil,none. Where are you supposed to put any toiletries? No tissues, complimentary “bits”. No...

"I’ve stayed here before purely because they still have baths, and even then I had to overlook the tired décor, worn‑out furnishings, lack of modern comforts, uncomfortable beds, no air con, single glazing, barely any plug sockets and the £15 daily parking fee. But this stay was somehow worse. Their so‑called “comfort” rooms are actually the lowest budget rooms, ranked below standard, proving they don’t understand the meaning of comfort at all. They even denied using the term despite happily...
