Once you step inside, you’ll appreciate the light and bright interiors with modern elements, soaring ceiling height and lovely views towards the mountain. The recent top-to-bottom designer remodel offers wood-style flooring, quartz countertops, brand new appliances and cabinetry, flat screen HD TVs, tiled tub/shower, designer furnishings/fixtures and appointments throughout. The Rockies Condominiums are within walking distance to the Mountain Village, the indoor year-round Tennis Center and the Strings Music Festival pavilion. During summer, enjoy the easy stroll to the Steamboat Ski Area promenade and the refreshing Rocky Mountain stream that flows through the base area, where summer activities and events such as free concerts and art exhibits enhance Steamboat's splendid summertime surroundings.

Located on the free city bus route (Steamboat Springs Transit - SST), there are two stops by the complex, Lower Rockies and Upper Rockies. This route loops around the Rockies and makes various stops at the mountain area on its route back to the Mountain Village/Gondola Transit Center. A Mountain Resorts shuttle is on-call (winter only) nightly from 6pm-10:30 pm for easy evening trips to downtown Steamboat Springs or the grocery store.

Our professional front desk staff is available to our guests every day, and check-in is available 24-hours a day in our conveniently located welcome center on Mt. Werner road. Hard to find.

Older, but well maintained. Could use a new toaster, unless you like it black on one side! Beds were comfortable, decorated nicely.

Okay, but not special.

Place was reasonably clean, but not spotless.Many areas need paint or minor repairs. Kitchen equipment was minimal and not very good quality, especially the can opener and wine opener. Gas fireplace didn't turn on. Few hooks for hanging clothes or coats. Bed was comfortable. A VRBO property usually has a personal touch, but this was stark. No books, puzzles, games, afghans or fleece throws. If you're on the slopes all day, it would be fine, but you don't want to spend much time there.

Great, cozy spot, but a bit loud

Nothing can be done about noisy tenants or neighbors; it is what it is, but we had a warm and cozy condo that was clean, easy to access, and within walking distance of the mountain and all the attractions. We spent the day hiking and listening to the funk music with Rock the Boat. Prob won't stay here again, unfortunately, just because of the noise but it's definitely a nice spot if you're a heavy sleeper!

Great spot

The location is great with only a 10 minute shuttle to the mountain. Access to the hot tub and pool is nice. The property was a little tight, especially the stair well but overall a great spot.

Clean and convenient!!!

We stayed at The Rockies Condominiums. Great location to the slopes, just a short walk if not interested in catching the shuttle. The unit was clean! Spiral stairway tight fit. Getting luggage upstairs could be a challenge. Maybe bring some rope and bring it up over the balcony. A couple of the stove burners didnt work and some outlets were also not working, but for my son and myself, it worked just fine. The unit was clean. The heated pool and 2 hot tubs were awesome, even if one night a curious moose blocked the path! We found another way in and sat in the hot tub and hung out watching Bullwinkle safely from the gated pool area. That was pretty neat! I would definitely stay here again!
