"The vacility seemed to be brand new! So clean and new I was afraid to use it! Easy walking distance to the center of town. Advice for the owner: prospective renters need to be aware of the steep and narrow stairs; the unit is on the second floor and I was able to manage it but some elderly friends and family of mine would not be able to. Wish I had instructions for the new window air conditioners which have many controls. Kitchen was very complete, I felt very welcome. The Boston "T" station located so close was a surprise. I discovered it was easier to walk to nearby historic sites than trying to drive. Winding streets with lots of traffic and no traffic lights! I was also surprised that other historic towns nearby were such a short drive away. I spent a week and never used up even a half tank of gas! Many historic sites are closed Monday and Tuesday."

"We loved staying at this property in August of 2026. It is well maintained, stocked with everything you’d need, and located in a beautiful and secluded spot. The host is very nice and a great communicator. I’d definitely recommend this place and will hopefully stay there again in the future."

"We couldn't have been more pleased with this property. It was perfect for our family of 5 in town for a wedding. We enjoyed the back patio and the well-appointed kitchen. Temperature was comfortable and beds and linens were of excellent quality. The location was great. Easy access to town, beaches, farms etc. Host was very helpful and professional. Loved it!"

"Clean, comfortable, well stocked with all the detailed items you'd have at home - the only thing we needed to supply for ourselves was perishable food items. Quiet neighborhood setting while being just 15 minutes walk from the center of town. There is a convenience store at the end of the street and all manner of other shopping within a few minutes drive. Overall a very comfortable, convenient location from which to explore the local beaches."

"The kitchen was spacious and very well stocked. It has a very nice dining table set with six chairs and lovely views from the kitchen windows. The shared balcony is quite pleasant overlooking the chicken coops that shelter several chickens.The one bathroom is quite small with very little room to put toiletries and the shower fixture takes getting used to.The beds are very comfortable for all ages.It is very quiet and in a good location next to the river and an easy walk downtown."
