"The hotel is basically brand new, just over a year old. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed two nights but could have used at least one more. Beautiful town and countryside."

"The location of this hotel is everything! The hotel itself is average for Europe. Nothing crazy. But you are only a one minute walk from the beautiful square and all the different places to check out, including shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel. Make sure you get one of the upper rooms with a view of the lake."

"The room and bathroom were amazingly clean. The view of the mountains and lake were breathtaking. What a nice hidden gem. What would make this property even more perfect is if there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room and laundering facilities inclusive of an iron and ironing board. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It would be nice if the larger rooms (party of 3-4) were lake facing too. The lake view rooms were limited to double and single occupancy."

"Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WC’s and we’re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I don’t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time.
