"My girlfriend and I came to visit Guerneville for our 4 year anniversary and I booked the Cottages. It was the perfect place for us to stay and celebrate our 4 years together. The staff and owner Deann were so warm, incredibly homely and super friendly. They made my girlfriend and I feel so welcome and we felt like family the entire time. When I was warming up for my morning run, Deann suggested a safer path through the residential area that I was grateful for and enjoyed even more than my original route! I had called ahead to Deann to see if the team would be able to do something special for the occasion and they got us the most beautiful purple roses and balloons we have ever seen! They also gave us an upgrade to the treehouse room which had the most amazing outdoor shower! In the cold November morning, a hot outdoor shower was absolutely amazing. The property is also home to 3 orange cats who are super friendly and so so cute"

"Our Victorian King Suite had a large deck that faced the ocean wharf and had especially amazing view of the sunsets. Nice deck furniture to relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere. We also had the restful sound of ocean waves breaking in the wharf overnight that we could hear from the bed. The suite had a separate area for the king bed and small kitchen. There was a separate area for relaxing with a warm, comfy couch positioned so we could see the water and sky. There was a fireplace across from the couch that provided cozy heat. Great bathroom with a large shower and tub. The staff was great, especially Karen. She made us feel so welcome, we can’t wait to go back. There are also two great places to eat literally below the hotel. Excellent pizza at one, and great seafood at the other. The whole experience was five stars all the way."

"We had a wonderful stay in Fort Ross. Loved our room at Fort Ross Lodge! We had a beautiful view of the ocean with a nice outdoor siting patio."
