"Great location at airport and rental car service "

"The hotel is really nice, great location and super convenient to visit the city. The only thing that was a bit of a drama was getting in and out of the parking garage. You had to press a button, but then the button never worked, the attendant wasn´t always there, then you had to call reception, their button didn´t work. A real faff!"

"I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet, though not new. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good! There are also some shopping markets within walking distance to get food. The hotel is just one stop from the airport, yet is about 40 minutes by train from the city center. There was a holiday that I was surprised about while I was there, and I did end up having to stay in the city center longer than planned to go back to the hotel by train in the evening. Take care if booking anything on a Sunday, as the train does not run on Sunday mornings. I had travel plans and needed to take a taxi to the airport, which was about $30 for a 5 minute ride, and then catch the airport shuttle from there into town to the train station. I needed to wake up at 4 a.m. to achieve this and then wait at the train station for a couple of hours, including waiting for about a half hour outside the doors until the station opened at 6:30 a.m. Otherwise, I do not anticipate the transportation having posed any issues. The hotel offers some games to play on the ground floor. There isn’t a fitness center, but they have a partnership with a gym. All in all, the hotel was a good value for the money and the staff were kind. I would stay here again! "

"The was the best breakfast we had in Norway. The variety and quality was excellent!! The receptionist, Emilie was amazing! Our luggage was delayed and she was so helpful trying to get the luggage to us! We would stay here again and highly recommend!! "

"We had a excellent stay. The location was fantastic- right on the water and a quick walk to The Hurtigruten Terminal. The room was very clean and a good size. Good coffee and croissants in the morning. "

"I stay rather frequently at Scandic Hell. It is my preferred hotel when I have either early morning flights out of Trondheim, or my flights arrive late in Trondheim. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and set up if I have additional guests staying with me. The restaurant is great, and the breakfast buffet is even better. I’m never disappointed when I stay here. "
