Find Hotels with a Pool in Stone Oak, TX

"We arrived early, we have stayed here in the past and have never had a problem with check in, even a little early..So our room wasn’t ready, that was fine, but at 4:00, sitting in the lobby, watching numerous people check in and get their room…I got a little impatient. I was told that our level of room, and the price we paid, we would have to wait. So apparently booking through a 3rd party expect to wait. The hotel is older, but the rooms are spacious and was very clean. The location in the river is great, very walkable to everything. Breakfast one morning in the Ambler, again we have been before..the food is good, but the service was very slow. We sat at the bar for drinks two evenings and the staff was excellent, Michael at the bar was very friendly and sweet. "

"The front desk staff was super sweet and helpful. However we got to our rom, & there was a “do not disturb” sign on the room they gave us. We were able to open the door w the key that was given to us, but when I opened the door, I could see what looked like pillows and comforter on one of the beds, & trash on the dresser. We had traveled for 8 hrs and we were exhausted, so ready for bed. We had just left Red Roof Inn because we didn’t feel safe, so this concerned us at first. But staff was notified and they agave us another room. No problems after that. My friend and I could have used a glass of wine by the time we got there but no such luck at this hotel. It was almost midnight by the time we checked in. "
