"As always we loved our stay. This time we brought our grandkids for the first time and luckily they had several events for kids. The only thing I would bring up is the AC in room 411. I didn’t bring it up during our stay because it wasn’t that big a deal but it was a little humid in the room and never got below 72 even though we had the blackout curtains closed and the thermostat was set to 68 even before we got there. "While the property is aging there was people working on it the 2 days we were there. A storm had taken down a very large tree and they had it gone quickly. Others were caulking windows and replacing A/C unit. Would be nice to have charging stations next to the bed. I wish there was ice available in the dining area. It had rained a lot during the morning and the ice machine nearest our room had a very large water puddle in front of it making it impossible to get ice without wading in 2-3 inches...

"We arrived for them to tell us the hotel was closed because the systems were down. No one called to tell us so we could make a new reservation elsewhere. No apology, no trying to help us find a place or offer of a discount for another stay. Worst customer service ever. I do not recommend in case you show up and they are closed and dont bother to let you know. We stayed at hotel next door and customer service was great!! I highly recommend them!! "

"We loved the rooftop bar and the options for the views. However, it did become a bit noisey when you need to sleep to get back to another state the next day. Also, we weren’t aware the space was rented out and free to the public. The restaurant downstairs was great, and not crowded."
