"It was a comfortable room. I found the room to be clean and very accommodating. The hall needed vacuuming, and the breakfast was not great. Continental breakfast offered with limited options. I would have eaten at least cereal, but there were no milk alternatives. "

"This property is stunning! Surrounded by wildlife, quiet and relaxed. The pond sounds day and night make for a peaceful retreat. The host was kind and gracious. The property is exactly as described and the photos are current. We enjoyed making forever memories with our grandchildren. "

"Hallways needed vacuuming, hall reeked of weed and dog pee. Room also smelled of dog pee. Human tooth hanging out on top of the bathroom mirror. Cabinet for Murphy bed had trash in it including wrappers for edibles. Breakfast area very messy with trash and food all over counters and floors. Trash cans outside overflowing. Took us over three hours to gets blankets, sheets and pillows for Murphy bed. Staff was nice and it’s a great location but they need some lessons in deep cleaning. "

"We stayed at Black Ridge for our spring break, coming from West Virginia, and it was amazing! The inside of the cabin was even better than we expected, very clean, and most basic amenities were already provided for! It’s not to far from most places, like garden of the gods and cave-in-rock; and, exploring the forest behind it as college students was great, and we found plenty of things to take home with us. "
