No food or drink allowed in rooms which was disappointing as you have to go down to a very busy bar to get refreshments and isn’t ideal if your chilled in your room after a long day out and you just want to relax watching TV with a nice cup of coffee, but that isn’t possible as no kettle is provided in your room. "Overall the hotel is good and well maintained. I would say it's a little dated in areas but the staff were friendly and pleasant. My main gripe is that I arrived 1.5 hours ahead of check in time and they wanted £10 per hour extra to get into my room early. I wasn't expecting to get in early but if the room is ready then I would expect to be able to get in anhour ahead of time without being charged."
