La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boston Somerville
8/10 Good
"We stayed here on the night we arrived from the West Coast and on the eve before heading back to California. The first night room was fine. We like La Quinta and the breakfasts especially. Here, the first night room was OK, but the location of the facility was in an isolated area that was supposed to be within 15 minutes of the airport and within walking distance from shopping. It took a lot longer to get there and on the way to get the car, the shuttle went downtown to drop someone off at the hospital, before going to the airport. Thankfully, we were only going back to get our rental car and did not have a time deadline. The shopping was walkable, but through an undeveloped area, which felt weird. The second night in the same location was disappointing. The room was not as clean seeming as the first night and we were paying double for this second night as it was a Friday of a three day holiday weekend. We also did not like that we had to have the fan on all night. We like having fresh air and after a period of about an hour, I started coughing and getting a running nose. I put a mask on and that stopped the coughing. Unfortunately, we had several instances where we could not control our environment and it affected our health for several days during the trip. Plus losing sleep and adjusting to the time change."

"We had a great time. Great location and this hotel has everything you need. I needed some help from the hotel either receiving a gift for my boyfriend at check in and they were super helpful with accommodating this. The only thing is that when I stayed at this hotel in NYC they provided water bottles/containers you could take to your room, this one didn’t. And I found myself missing this. It’s a small thing but makes a big difference. Besides this, would stay here again!"
Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston Waltham

"I’ve stayed here a few times cause the location is very convenient and they have great breakfast but the rooms aren’t the cleanest there have been times I’d have to complain either the rugs were pretty gross or bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned"

"We had a comfortable one night stay at this location. The room was obviously updated, modern and clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. It is very affordable compared to other Boston area hotels and was exactly what we were looking for."

"The reservation said 2 queen beds but we got 2 full beds instead so be careful when you book."
Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge

"The Paperback "café" on the lobby floor is far better than most hotels. Wine, beer, juice, water, etc. plus sandwiches and salads at reasonable prices. Very nice staff. However, the breakfast buffet is sub par. Slightly better than Hampton Inn but way below Hilton Garden Inn. Dry, fake scrambled eggs, Very little fruit and baked goods. Chaotic scene as you enter. Out of control. My room had a great view of the Charles River."
