Northern Lights Lodge

"The room was clean, and well maintained. The river outside my room was a great touch, and I was so glad they could book me into a room so close to it. Though the surroundings were nice, and the rooms and breakfast were good, the staff is the real star here. From the front desk attendant when I arrived late at night, to the gentleman taking breakfast orders, even to the maintenance staff, I haven't found a hotel yet that had more friendly, professional, attentive people working there. Simply put, i am not sure I would return JUST for the hotel, but absolutely would be back and recommend based solely on the staff working there. They obviously care a great deal about their guests, the guests experience, and how they can assist. I wish more hotels would focus on their hospitality like the staff did while I was there. My interactions with them were minimal as this was a "crash" spot for me while I looked for a new home, but that should tell you the impression they made that those few interactions would be the exact reason I would return again and again. When my family comes to visit, I know where I will be sending them!"

"I call it six star hotel , because it is perfect condition and easy to park . Staff is friendly. Amazingly there is hot water kettle that is what I really need to make tea with higher temperatures. There are beautiful flower baskets hanging around outside , they make me feel warm and like in my own flower gardens."
