"After email confirmation of booking when i phoned the morning just to confirm I was told room was not available.I was then offered a more expensive room got ther I did like the room. The bedroom door was too close to excess and entrance went to go for something else luckly found place last minute in Strand.Think view of mountain's also misleading."

Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "The property was excellent value for money and was a good location for the beach and local bars eateries shops It made a good base to explore other areas in the western cape The property needs some updating and new mattresses would be a bonus and made the stay a little more comfortable Overall though fully enjoyed our time at this property and Flippie was an excellent host"
