"You won't find better hosts than Marianne and Ali! They welcomed us into their home like old friends and spoiled us with homemade treats. Marianne gave us suggestions of where to shop, visit, and eat. We loved walking to the bakery in the morning to buy baguettes to eat with jams made by Marianne. We also enjoyed lunch at a nearby restaurant by the canal. Eckbolsheim is a lovely little town to stroll around. The canal is beautiful with flowers and wildlife — we even saw a muskrat!We were there during a heat wave, so I appreciated the apartment's air conditioning and washing machine. The nearby trams to town are also air-conditioned, so we had a great trip despite the weather. Note that you enter through the main door of the house, and the apartment is on the third floor."
