"Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. Sitting in the garden was so good for the soul ... so tranquil and perfect. The rooms were so beautiful. My bed was HUGE and the bathroom was so clean it was SPARKLING. I also loved the pool and the Spa staff were so helpful. Highly recommend a stay here and I will definitely be coming back."

"The family room we stayed in was just tired. Stains on the carpet, cracked tiles, just really shabby. The room was clean and the linen too. It just is very uncared for. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Coffee was poor, from the looks of the machine it uses powdered milk rather than fresh milk. Location is good. "

"I always enjoy staying here. It's very comfy and safe and the staff are very pleasant. I liked using the spa - recommend arriving early as there are only really two full length swim lanes. The breakfast is lovely - lots of choice and relaxed. It's great that poached eggs are provided without needing to ask (again, get there early). I use the bath, and it's so good to have that option. I'd a little trouble with the hot water and on/off controls (though I worked it out, almost - not without some panic once when water refused to stop flowing.) You'll need to check there are accessibly available products for those not standing in the shower - again, just ask. Also check the hairdryer - if not as powerful as you like, they have others. The Perspex shower door was a real nuisance - I collided with it a few times (unnecessary for bath users but still swinging around). My telephone was also disconnected but I used an outside line."

"Onsite private parking. The Arden is a very attractive hotel overlooking the RSC. The hotel is light and airy. Lovely warm welcome. The receptionist took us to our room, I can’t remember the last time we were shown to a room. We liked the decor of the hotel and the room. The room was large with a superking bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, and a dressing room. Very quiet neighbourhood. Picturesque gardens. We particularly enjoyed the champagne bar. From The Arden most attractions in Stratford are within a short walk. It’s a very pretty town with lots to see and, every time we have been at least, street performers by the river. All in all, a glorious short break."

"Lovely breakfast and my husband accidentally left our car open overnight. Whilst I wouldn't recommend this nothing was taken. We both slept really well in the comfortable bed. The lady who checked us in was attentive and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend to friends and family."
