"The room was clean. However the tap was loose in the bathroom. I had originally booked the room with the bathtub but was given another room when I arrived. The reconfirmed with the manager and the room was changed. "

"Very disappointed on first view as it didn't match up to the picture on the website. We were surprised to see major outside work which began at six am each morning.Our bedrooms were in a separate building adjacent to the hotel. The facilities in the bedroom were adequate for two people but there was insufficient tea/milk also only one hand towel and water glass. One positive was we were very near to the theatre which was our main reason for visiting Stratford upon Avon. Otherwise our stay at the hotel was disappointing. We will be returning to the Pen and Parchment."
