"Our stay was excellent from checkin to checkout. Rooms were ready for us a bit early and the air conditioning was fabulous in the Graz heat. Staff were very kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious! Danke! "

"Well decorated hotel with lovely people on reception and bar. Spacious room with king bed but like most European hotels in this area - firm bed, non fluffy towels and eco-tough toilet paper. Recommend they sell one of the paintings in the room and buy a mini fridge as it is good to be able to have cold water and store your seasonal fruit in for your travels. No kettle - luckily I had brought my own as well as tea bags as Europe often doesn’t supply. Therefore requested some ice from the bar for keeping my milk cool. Did receive a top sheet rather than use the thick doonas (though I brought my own muslin sheet in readiness and used my cashmere throw rather than the thick doonas as it was summer). Good air con to cool the room down in summer. Lovely view to the clock tower on the hill. 15 min walk to old town and the ‘exotic’ centre across the road didn’t seem to have any activity nor the traffic we didn’t hear as there is double glazing curtains and block out shutters for the arctic windows so slept well."

This hotel was the friendliest, cleanest, service oriented hotel we have ever stayed in around the world, on arrival Tristan made us a cup of tea to sit at the patio and chill before checking in. Marcella took us to our room to check it was ready and the outstanding service continued. we were treated like family and that is the atmosphere created. The spa area was out of this world and would compete with any luxury resort. Tristan’s local knowledge and advice on where to eat and how to get around on the tram were so helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"This may be my favorite hotel I have stayed at in Europe. It is quiet, lovingly decorated, and it is right in the heart of town. Every attraction we wanted to see was within 15 minutes walking distance. Plenty of food and shopping only hundreds of feet away. The staff were super helpful and the bar was also a treat. If I ever come back to Graz, we will be staying here again. "

"Excellent room in centre of Zagreb. This small place offers 4 apartment style rooms but with hotel service, cleaning etc. There is no reception but communication from the owner is very good. The room itself was immaculately clean, with coffee machine, fridge and with daily room servicing. Shower in particular was excellent and bed very comfortable. Location is perfect for city break in Zagreb as very central, walking distance to bars and restaurants and tram network. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was also excellent value. "
