"Stay her a couple of times a year. Staff always friendly and helpful. Always clean & tidy though it could do with a makeover because some things are getting a bit shabby! Breakfast always good. Would deffo recommend "

"Reception staff very welcoming. Hotel very old and carpets very threadbear in halls and stairs. Bathroom had stain on flooring and there was mildew on bath/shower mat. No plugs by bedside . Mattress very lumpy "

"I had a twin room and the bedding on my bed had black marks on, as did two of the towels. The breakfast was great but the rooms were utilitaruan, not what you would expect for the price. The hotel is great for a sports venue and the grounds are lovely but not for the general public looking for a luxury stay as the rooms are too basic. I won’t be staying again."
