Sleeping six guests and set just a short walk from the town’s bustling centre and golden beach, with the Purbeck countryside also nearby, this is a great base for beach days and coastal walking. Enjoy bucket-and-spade days at Swanage Beach (300 metres) and find more coastal splendour within a 7-mile stretch along Studland Bay. Scenic walking trails abound along the South West Coast Path (500 metres), which offers the best viewpoints for Old Harry Rocks and the Isle of Wight. Enjoy traditional days out at Swanage Pier (0.5 miles), where you’ll find welcoming places to eat and drink, as well as boat trips heading out along the coast. Board the heritage Swanage Railway (200 metres) for a scenic ride to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles) or enjoy the far-reaching views at Durlston Country Park (1.5 miles).

At the end of each day away, climb the cottage stairs and choose from three sumptuous bedrooms. These spacious and comfortable rooms include a king-size bedroom, a welcoming double and a cosy twin. A well-equipped family bathroom and a separate shower room complete the interior of this charming home.


    Outside, to the rear of the cottage, step into the peaceful courtyard garden. Enclosed and boasting outdoor furniture, this is the best spot to enjoy quiet coffees under the morning sun and al fresco meals on balmy evenings. On-street parking is available in the surrounding roads, subject to availability.
