"We stayed for 3 days and unfortunately experienced several issues that made our stay disappointing. Firstly, I paid an additional $50 to upgrade our room, which was advertised as including a balcony, a larger dining table, and a fireplace (as stated in the room description online). However, when we arrived, the room only included one of those features. Paying extra for an upgrade and not receiving the amenities that were advertised was frustrating. Secondly, the website states that hotel guests receive snow tubing at a discounted rate of $20 per person. However, when I booked at the activities counter, I was charged $40 per person and was told that this was the “discounted rate.” At the same time, the same $40 price was listed online for non-hotel guests, which made the advertised discount appear misleading. Another issue was the temperature in the water park. On 2 out of the 3 days we were there, it was so cold inside that my children and I were shivering, which made it difficult to enjoy the experience. Additionally, guests should be aware that the hotel charges $53 per day in resort fees and $25 per day for self-parking, which significantly increases the cost of the stay. I stayed here once before several years ago and had a better experience, which is why this visit was particularly disappointing. The property does have great amenities for families, but the issues we encountered during this stay left a bad impression. "
