"We were a family group of 12 meeting up to celebrate a special birthday. The house which was very spacious was beautifully furnished and the large kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were large & very comfortable. The garden was lovely & plenty of outdoor seating. I would recommend this house for a large family gathering "

"We found the quintessential place to stay in the Cotswolds. Great for an extended family trip. Plenty of room for 3 generations to relax and enjoy seeing each other. The hiking trails out the front door were great. Lots of things to do reasonably close by. Had fun exploring the area. "Another excellent stay at your quirky cottage. Thanks for making us feel welcome. The welcome tray was amazing the home made treats were delicious and so thoughtful. A very quiet relaxing stay so peaceful and quiet sat in the hot tub. Another excellent breakfast the following morning too. We will definitely hope to visit again. "Returned to this property a second time for a large family gathering and once again it didn't disappoint. The house and grounds are so well kept. Both adults and kids can be entertained as well as feeling relaxed. The memories that have been made from our visits often come up in conversation and now we've more to reminisce. "It was one of the most breath taking country places to stay. To wake up and see this amazing view, so quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and and ate breakfast and evening meals there as we wanted to make the most of the tranquil experience. A little tricky navigating the tiny roads at times but all part of the fun. The Shed is a lovely cost place to stay. "

"We had the most wonderful time staying here. The house was surprisingly spacious and immaculately clean. The terrace became a second room and we spent most of our time there, joyfully chatting and admiring the view. The highlight for me was the joy the dogs had with their freedom and trips up the field at first light. The views from up there are incredible. "A wonderful location for a last minute short break. The Barn was exactly what we needed and as described. We could happily sit and look at the Views and sunset from the garden / patio, whilst relaxing. Walking possible direct from the Barn and easy access to loads of places to visit across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Great communication from host.
