There are some good restaurants nearby too, so don't need to worry about where to have dinners. The only thing is that they really need to fix the front door of the room I stay (first floor). The room and bathroom were spotless and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Keurig provided in room and 24 hr hot coffee/tea bar in the lobby, which was also super clean. We came when the hotel had been open only 13 days. Everything is brand new. They are working out minor kinks but the staff was very nice and working hard to make everything perfect.

The hotel is updated, modern very clean. Our room was specious, but lacked a few comforts that most hotels offer such as a coffee maker and comfortable chairs to use while relaxing in the room. The room was more than big enough to add a couch or comfortable chair. All they have is a metal uncomfortable office style seat. No coffee in the room or microwave which for me brings my rating down. This is a beautiful property, it is like staying in a historical mansion. We stayed in a king suite and the room was huge and very nice. Continental breakfast was simple and sufficient, great experience overall. We had an emergency situation at home (12 hrs away) and the manager was extremely helpful in working with us so that we could leave a day early. Would definitely recommend this hotel…close to Skeaneatles and the lake.
