We enjoyed our stay at Giuggiulena Villa! The location is right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea, nearby sea caves, and just a few steps down to access the water for swimming. The Agilia Ortigia Charme Hotel is absolutely superb. Firstly, we were lost in Syracuse, but when we called the hotel to get some guidance, very nice man name Marchello gave us excellent directions and then met us outside the hotel which was a huge help after a long day of driving in Sicily. We absolutely loved Aretusa Vacanze! The room was very cozy and spacious. The owners were there every morning preparing breakfast, and the rest of the family helped manage the B&B beautifully. We especially appreciated Stefano’s dinner recommendations.

Nostos was clean and comfortable. It was well situated for city sites, tour pickup points, and public transportation. Staff was very helpful. There was no elevator (lift), but the staff carried our bags up two flights.

This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. The breakfast is wonderful, no hot food, but everything else you could ask for in a bed and breakfast-tyoe breakfast. But there is no lunch or dinner available. Location was very quiet, and the restoration done on the old Sicilian farmhouse was excellent. The room was very comfortable, though the bed was hard as a rock (as is typical). Very clean, well run and a decent breakfast. In a way it’s the perfect location: a 10-minute walk to Ortigia, but you are away from the over-touristy bits.

We were going to be placed in a room that had some plumbing problems in the bathroom, but we notified the front desk staff, and they tried to fix the problem with the toilet, but then placed us in a different room that was much better. The rooms are mostly simple, and it's an older building, but it's clean and the staff is very nice and accomodating.
