"Interesting conversion of historical convent to hotel. Very relaxing to be by the rooftop pool. Walking distance to transportation, restaurants, shopping, beach. Onsite restaurant was good, although service was a bit odd."

"It is a comfortable and clean hotel with very helpful and courteous desk staff. Excellent location at the heart of the city close to the beaches and old town. Breakfast buffet had several options. My only disappointment about this hotel is related to a personal preference issue. It’s a beautiful historic building. I was hoping that some of the original elements would be maintained and represented. When you are in the hotel, it looks like any chain hotel with generic furniture and decoration. Especially the dining room is disappointing with somewhat uncomfortable bench-style seating and limited natural light. And too many mirrors :-)"

"A beautiful room with separate sitting and dining area. There were small balconies allowing us to enjoy views of the cathedral. At the time of our stay there were some roadworks outside but they were not bothersome. Spacious bathroom with separate bath and nice products. The breakfast area was comfortable although we only really wanted to eat toast, so ended up going out to Caravanserai Cafe a couple of times, which is just to the side of the cathedral opposite. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I personally was expecting the reception area to have a bit more of a wow factor and be larger, but this did not affect our enjoyment of the room. Aircon worked well in Summer. You can book the sauna and steam room for private use. This was a lovely relaxing treat. There are restaurants, shops and cafes outside, and the beautiful seafront is only a 5-10 minute walk. Thank you for a lovely stay."
