Gorgeous, secluded mountain top hideaway, on nearly 4 acres with unrivaled views of the Fraser River Valley, Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Area, Byers Peak, Devil's Thumb to Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy your own private home in the mountains, with plenty of room to relax indoors and out. Sit on one of the three oversized decks, in the 6 person hot tub, lounging in a hammock, or use it as your base to explore Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, or enjoy world-class downhill and cross-country skiing or mountain biking at Winter Park ski resort, Granby Ranch, Devil's Thumb Ranch, and YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch.

This custom-built luxury retreat features a spacious open floor plan with high end amenities you would expect from a luxury mountain home: flat screen tv's, thermostat-controlled gas fireplace, radiant in-floor heat, gourmet kitchen with 5 burner gas range, air hockey/ping pong table, hot tub, outdoor seating-including hammocks to lounge away the day. The home offers a main floor master suite with attached bath including walk-in double shower and walk out to 2 separate patios. The spacious upstairs has two over-sized bedrooms; one with two double beds (queen air mattress also included) and one with a large King bed and queen sleeper sofa, with shared full bathroom. The main floor features two living areas. The TV/media room has 2 large couches with one pull out queen size bed that comfortably sleeps two (could accommodate two more on additional sofa); this room features a rustic sliding barn door that is able to be closed for added privacy. There is a half bathroom on the main level and a half bathroom on the garage level.

The fully stocked gourmet kitchen comes with all appliances, dishes, high quality pots and pans, utensils, bakeware, and small electrics you may need to cook large meals for your group. There is even a gas grill and grilling utensils for your use on the deck.

The home includes multiple options to keep your group entertained: Bonus living area, kitchen and Master Bedroom has a flat screen TV with DirecTV, Satellite WiFi is included with your stay, there are plenty of games in the bonus living area, outdoor hot tub, fishing poles, or choose to lounge in one of the hammocks on the deck while enjoying a good book from our shared library.

You will have access to a 2 car heated garage. Other amenities include a washer and dryer.

We hope you enjoy making wonderful Rocky Mountain memories in our private, secluded Rocky Mountain Retreat. The views from this home are unparalleled. We are located 20 minutes from Winter Park, 10 minutes from Pole Creek Golf Course, 15 minutes to YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch and Grandby Ski area. The secluded home is situated atop the Fraser River canyon, accessed via well maintained county road, 10 minute drive off highway 40 from Tabernash.
PLEASE NOTE: We are taking every precaution to offer you a clean and disinfected environment during your stay. We are following all cleaning guidance offered by VRBO and the CDC and the cleaning company we use has instituted additional measures to ensure a thorough clean after each check out and prior to each check in. There's no better place to enjoy an amazing mountain getaway than Timber Ridge!
House Rules and Policies:
Our home is a one of a kind custom build in the Rocky Mountains and we ask that you please treat our home with respect and dignity.
We ask that you enjoy the home and the great views and leave the home as you found it. This will allow other guests to enjoy our home in the future.
- Absolutely NO SMOKING of ANY kind on the Property
- Guests must follow posted hot tub rules. If guests cause hot tub to be drained and refilled following stay, a $500 fee will be imposed.
- Feel free to use propane firepit on patio, but no open fires in firepit allowed due to extreme fire danger.
- Guests must observe all Grand County fire ban restrictions
- Maximum of 12 guests allowed in home at one time
-Booking party must have an adult over the age of 25 and must be present during entire stay. A fine of $1500.00 will be imposed and guests will be subject to immediate eviction if violated.

NIGHTLY MINIMUMS (shorter times are considered as we get closer to the dates):
We prefer a 3 night minimum stay, however we will accept 2 night stays if availability allows. We have a 4 night minimum stay for major holidays.

A great mountain home for a quick get away!

We had family in town from Virginia, and wanted to show them true mountain living. And this place delivered! The views were beautiful and we could see slopes of Winter Park from the deck. Cozy living room with a fireplace, and hot tub star gazing. It helped that we got 3-4 inches of snow too. We had a wonderful time! We'll be back!

Majestic Mountain Views

This was a much needed trip away. Most of our group went skiing while the youngest kiddos stayed back at the cabin with a couple adults. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub, and the views were amazing from every angle. Definitely would recommend, definitely would stay again.

This is a clean, beautiful home furnished with everything you could need! The views are amazing. Hosts were helpful and responsive. Be aware there is quite a drive up the mountain to get to the house, but we took it slow and managed fine.

Here For The Views

Our family LOVED this property. It was away from the resorts enough to have privacy, but close enough to be convenient for skiing/snowboarding for the day. The hot tub was perfect after a day of that! The hosts have all the amenities available for cooking and enjoying the incredible views from the house. The property is so so beautiful!!

Incredible home with stunning views

This trip was one for the ages! We decided to do our annual ski trip at winter park this year and we are so happy we chose this house! Jason had excellent communication with us throughout the entire stay and sent someone out to plow when it snowed. The home had some of the most incredible views I have ever seen. One pro tip: make sure you have 4 wheel drive during the winter months to get up to the house. All around wonderful time!

Best home rental experience we've ever had

Amazing place- very private, gorgeous views, nicely appointed, comfortable house. We rent houses all the time and agreed this was the best experience to date. The owner is responsive, polite, professional (thank you Jason!). We stargazed, bird watched, animal spotted, cooked, napped, enjoyed the hot tub, played games, explored, and relaxed. We were able to cook anything we needed with the available cookware and was happily surprised to have spices/condiments available without having to purchase each one. The house was clean, the hot tub was sparkling, and everything we needed was there. Things to consider: A 4x4 is highly recommended- and even with that we didn't leave the house much (didn't need to!). Altitude of the home is high so be prepared for an adjustment period if you are not already acclimated. We are already looking at options to return. It was a wonderful week celebrating our 20th anniversary and agree it's the best vacation we've had.

Stunning views

We were blessed enough to get to stay at this lovely home while the Aspen trees were at peak color. The views from the house were unreal! It also snowed during part of our stay which only added to the beauty of the landscape. The whole drive up the house was truly magnificent while getting a new view of the mountains around each corner while driving through the glowing aspens all the way up. The house itself was also stunning. Very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Even the pull out beds had pillowtops on them making them comfortable too. The kitchen was very well stocked. The gas fire pit was a wonderful treat. It was too windy to make use of the actual fire pit up on the hill, so it was perfect to sit on the deck and stargaze while warming by the gas fire pit. The hot tub was very clean and truly does have the best view from the house. The only trouble is it is a little difficult to get to as it is not on the porch as I originally assumed. It is right outside the master suite bedroom on a separate patio so it does require going through that room to get to it or a decent trek around the outside of the house. We never made use of the satellite tv, but there are very large screen tvs in each room. The double shower was also a nice treat and made showering children much quicker and easier. Just be careful of the barn door of the media room if you have little kids. It can come off the tracks somewhat easily, especially with young ones that are not used to them. Jason was very easy to work with and it is obvious the care and detail they have put into the home and making it extremely comfortable for guests. Lastly, the location is perfect. Loved being near RMNP and Grand Lake and it is a 5 min drive to Winter Park. You will NOT be disappointed with this home. Stay and enjoy!!

The rental house was everything we needed and wanted in a vacation home. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The views were absolutely spectacular from every room in the home! The owner was quick to respond to any issues we had. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Excellent House & Location

We stayed for a month, to work remotely and vacation. The location of the house is great, we enjoyed the local places nearby and the short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay & cooking meals. We both worked remotely with full days of video calls and the internet worked great. The most loved part of the property are the views, pictures don't reflect how beautiful it is. Highly recommend this rental!

What an amazing and beautiful home with even more amazing views! My family thoroughly enjoyed the home and the winter park area. The home is so comfortable and in such an amazing location. Girls weekend

Jason was very responsive and the house was perfect for a quick weekend getaway with friends. The pictures do not do the house/property justice! Definitely recommend a vehicle with 4WD. Would absolutely stay here again.
