"We enjoyed our stay for one night. The area around doesn't offer much but short drive distance will take you to amazing German/Polish restaurant. The rooms were quiet enough. We could still hear the sounds of the freeway but it wasn't that bad. The hotel was clean and the lobby smelled fresh and clean all the time! Unfortunately, they were out of vanity kits so i had to go without brushing my teeths in the morning "

"The hotel was clean, spacious, and comfortable; however, the best attribute of the Holiday Inn in Tacoma WA was the friendliness of its employees. From desk clerk Jasmine, who made sure we understood all the perks we were eligible for to restaurant waiters Kathi and Lori, who treated us as if we were family members (they even spent several minutes finding the TV program we wanted to watch!), we were overwhelmed by the hospitality of this friendly, outstanding hotel! Highly recommended!"

"Staff was friendly at check in and accommodated my request for a non smoking room after realizing my reservation was for a smoking room. This is an older place but for the price it’s definitely worth it for a good night’s rest after a long day of driving."

"I got myself caught and paid for my room before looking at it. I didn’t stay. It’s not in the best neighborhood which is not the hotels fault, but there were homeless everywhere. I walked three feet in the room, tossed the key on the table and walked out. It smelled musty. The hotel itself is old and seems rundown but hey, because I didn’t go check that room first, I was out my money. My fault"
