"Great location close to Nanjing Fuxing station, I had a hiccup with my flight schedule and they were very accommodating. The room was pretty basic, the air con was cold (bonus points for quiet!) & my roommates were all considerate & chill. Showers were hot and clean, bathrooms were well maintained. The only real 'dings' I'd give are to the common kitchen area--not enough coffee mugs (and no glasses that I could find), not enough cooking equipment (if the single pan is in use (and the person...

"Good location with lots of options for food but the common room smells like mold and there are cockroaches flying around. It's an older building with very limited space. This place definitely needs some improvement in hygiene manner. Will not stay there again."

"Super friendly staff & great fellow hostel mates. About 2 minutes from Ximen station; plenty to see and do, from shopping to nightlife. If you're in TPE for Pride, it's a great place to crash (and if you're not in Taiwan @ Pride, you're missing out...)
See you again soon :) "

"It was clean: the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living area (after entry, shoes off, of course). The staff was helpful & friendly. (There was a computer to use.) The place was light & bright: lots of windows. I enjoyed sitting in the living area and watching the city below. I found a street nearby with lots of vegetarian eateries. The place was easy to find, with that video on the "red tower"."

"Property is fairly nice and very aesthetic. Also quite clean! The staff are friendly too!
Location is convient, but the entrance is in a shopping area that closes after 9 or so and you have to take a back entrance if you come back late.
Bathroom facilities are also not amazing, there are no good places to put your clothes and towel while you shower and there is only one bathroom per gender.
Overall quite decent, especially for the price. Would stay again!"

"Love staying here when I come to Taipei. If you want a cost-effective, no-frills place to stay at that has breakfast and a communal hot tub to relax in, I don’t think any other place else comes close. Even if it’s on the outskirts of the city, access to nearby train stations makes in-town trips easy. "

"The room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable, the room and hotel were spotless. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. We had a club room on the 19th floor and the lounge staff and experience for breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails in the evening truly made our stay very comfortable.
The location in Zhongshan was perfect for dept store shopping as well as shopping along the quaint lanes of Chi Feng St and Zhongshan Road."
"I have stayed in this hotels for times in the the past 3 years. It is nice and convenient. I will continue to book this hotel. Expedia VIP access did result in any benefts as far as this hotel is concerned."
"Breathtaking entrance & spectacular view from balcony!! Chi Lin Pavilion is the original building in the back. Recommend staying in the main tower for more modern feel. "
"Excellent central location right in the heart of ximending.
Professional and attentive staff who go above and beyond for you.
Enjoyed free supply of coffee, tea, and bottles of mineral water.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable and quiet."
"We had a delightful stay at Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei. The service staff were exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was spacious (in Asian standard) and clean, although the decor could use some updates. It appears to be quite dated.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel amenities, particularly the sauna and soaking pools. They reminded me of a public bath in Japan.
The hotel offers some great dining options, including Chinese and Japanese restaurants, as well as a buffet. Also, its location right across a metro station makes it highly convenient to use public transportation."
"Great hotel. Very pleasant staff. Location good for seeing Taipei. Easy walk to nearest MRT stations.
Great buffet breakfast. Well-equipped gym.
Amazing views from rooftop pool.
Rooms stocked daily with several free drinking water bottles."
