"The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. "Best thing in this hotel is sky spa - or onsen on 12th floor overlooking town and motorway! Very fascinating and relaxing watch, soaking on hot water after full day walking! Lawson and 7-eleven just outside the hotel, several dining options within 5min walk. Hotel itself is quite dated and feels old, but sky onsen and breakfast makes up for it. Stayed one night in May 2025. "

"When I reserved the Suite Room through Expedia, the check-out time for this special room was 11:00 a.m. However, when we checked-in at the facility, the from receptionist instructed us that 10:00 a.m. was the firm check-out time, no exceptions. My wife was feeling ill, so a later checkout time would have been much better. The Dinner buffet restaurant seating was extremely slow, even though we had a time reservation. Breakfast buffet seating was even worse. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. We wanted to play table tennis, and we asked 3 different times throughout the evening; however, we were told that the tables had already been reserved all through the evening hours. Each time (4 times) that we physically checked, no one was using the table tennis tables. There were 2 tables, both unoccupied all 4 times that we checked. Terrible service!"

Decent stay

"The room was pretty comfortable. The bed was the downside. Due to the layout & size of the room it seems everyone sits on the one side of the bed near the desk. So for two of us one of us had to sleep in the middle to avoid rolling off the bed. I think the mattresses could use an upgrade. The bathroom was comfortable. Glad the window opened because otherwise we had no control over the climate in the room. The hotel was comfortable enough for the price. "

"All staff are friendly and very helpful. Only this hotel offer free coach tour for visiting all 4 Suwa Taisha shrines. very blessed. We enjoyed welcome drink before dinner. Hotspring bath with sauna room, very relaxing. they provid not only japanese yukata roves but also pajamas. Dinner and breakfast were so beautiful and delicious, and they served me a special vegetarian meal. many thanks to the kitchen staff. I strongly recommend to stay lake view room. the view was breath taking. "

Great, comfortable hotel for the price.

"Good, compact business hotel especially for the price. Older property but well maintained and room has all the amenities you’ll need (tea, kettle, mini-fridge, slippers, toothbrush + paste, comb, q-tips, etc.). Check in lady was great & explained everything. Hotel also provides printouts explaining things in english."
