"The room was clean, shower water pressure was pitiful, very low pressure and flow. Bed was very comfortable. The wi Dow shades would not close and the sheer screen let in to much light from the parking lot. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff were helpful."

"Room was nice, beds are comfortable. It was hot they have a pool, but it was not at all kept up, I actually had to take there broken skimmer and clean all the bugs out ( well what I could). Other than that it's a nice hotel."

"My stay at the candlewood suites got off to a rocky start. The room I had paid for 2 months in advance was not available when I checked in. I had been downgraded from a one-bedroom suite to a king room. Definitely this was not what I expected nor would I had paid for. they had sold my room to another customer that would be in the room. Two more nights. Though I had paid for four nights, I was only able to stay in the room I paid for in advance two nights. When I ran into trouble during check-in, I was instructed by the hotel's agent to call hotels.com for a refund on the two nights that I had to stay in the king room I did receive a refund even though it wasn't as much as I thought it should be."

"The only good thing about this place was it is convenient to the gate to Fort Rucker. We had to ring a bell and wait for someone to come buzz us in so we could check in. We had a king room on the 2nd floor. It looked like someone robbed an Ikea truck and threw the furniture in that room. The "down" comforter was filthy! Thank God I had brought my own blanket and pillows. There were two towels in the bathroom, no hand towels, no wash clothes, no ice bucket, no cups, no single brew coffee maker, no hair dryer, no ironing board, no pictures on the walls!! One sad little trash can and one little bar of soap. The water was hot and the rain shower head was ok. All we could find on the TV was Gunsmoke. There was NO continental breakfast, not even coffee or juice!! The pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned or filled in years. We did see a laundry room but didn't have a need to use it. The whole property could use a good cleaning, inside and out!!"

"House is beautiful and had everything we needed. My only comment is that it would have been nice to check in at 3, and check out by 11."
