"We enjoyed our stay-all the comforts of home were included. We had one elderly but healthy family member with us. Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. Other than that, the place was clean, convenient, quiet, and great for our stay in Japan. "

"This house is fine for older children and adults. Young children need to be monitored to ensure they don’t fall through the bannister or down the steep, dark, sharp-edged stairs. Also, showers are challenging for very young children. On the other hand, there is a nice play ground just around the corner for little ones. The ground floor has a toilet, but no shower, the top floor only has a shower, but no toilet or sink."

"This house was a great place for me and my son to stay during our recent trip to Japan. We mainly used the house just for sleeping as we were out the door each morning by 8 to start our adventures and didn't return until later in the evening. House has everything you'd need for cooking and overall living but these were things that we didn't use. "We had a wonderful stay. Excellent location, easy to find. The hosts were lovely. The room was clean, comfortahle and had amenities like a hotel. Amazing view of the river. Breakfast was very delicious! We would definitely recommend staying and hope to do so again when next in the area."
