You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Entire villa in gated community, 2 Bd, 2 & 1/2 bath, pool, sandy beach.

I hope this is your base for all kinds of fun activities or R&R. This is our home away from home and I hope you view it as such. It's not a show home. Meant to be lived in. Lay on the couch after a fun day surfing or exploring.

This is a stand alone house, not a condo. No long hallways, no elevators. A fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath. In Costa Rica. We call it a Villa and that includes your own private parking stall just a few steps away. If you don't feel like driving, no problem as everything is within walking distance and really is a better way to enjoy Tamarindo and the friendly locals. The incredible beach is just 850 meters away. Over half mile of adventure in the heart of town.

Important Update - we have installed a back-up water cistern. VERY important especially during high season. You still need to be conscious of water use.

•Fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, blender, granite countertops, raised eating bar and a separate eating area with a table and four chairs
•Comfortably appointed living room, with a large sectional, entertainment system, flat screen TV with built in DVD and free wifi phone to make free calls to the USA
•Washer Dryer and sink in Laundry room
•Two piece bathroom on main
•Coat closet
•Expanded lanai by the entrance. Perfect for reading or watching the kids in the pool.

Upper Floor
•Master bedroom, with a queen bed, an en-suite with a tub / shower, independent AC, ceiling fan, and a balcony that overlooks the pool
•Second bedroom, with a queen bed and a double bed plus a twin bunk bed above the double bed sleeping up to 5, a full en-suite, independant AC, ceiling fan
The air conditioning system has independent controls for each floor as well as for each bedroom.

Perfect Costa Rican villa for family of 5

The villa was a perfect size for our family of 5. The property was gorgeous, well maintained and conveniently located in the heart of Tamarindo. Jorge, the property manager was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience!!!!

This property was perfect from the moment we got to Tamarindo! The house is basically a 10-15 minute walk from everything in the city. After going out and exploring it was great to get in the pool to relax and cool off. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make this vacation to Tamarindo absolutely perfect!!!! We will definitely be booking this place again for a future trip!

Awesome place, great layout

We loved staying in this place - it was the best of the four places we stayed during our two weeks in Costa Rica. The house had a great layout and was well placed right across from the pool. There were several great restaurants within a couple blocks of the places.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having the pool in the front was perfect for our kids, who loved going in on each day. The Thursday night market is a must - amazing food and music. Fabulous location. We will be recommending to our friends!

Fun in Tamarinda

Very nice place.Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Very nice pool and BBQ area. We were two couples and had no issues, great value for the money.High marks to Jorge, who looked after us and everything else at Pueblo Colonial. Not only did Jorge look after the property, but he was also a great ambassador for this close knit gated community of 8 Villa's, as well as Tamarinda and also the country of Costa Rica.Although it wasn't a long walk to the beach and downtown area, sometimes we wished it was closer.All in all, we had a great time and met a lot of other people staying in the other Villas.Pura Vida!

Wonderful villa!

This villa was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We loved having the pool right out the front door, and the gated community was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. There are dozens of restaurants (and shopping) within a 10-15 minute walk, and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees during our walks to the beach (about 15 minutes). The villa was fully equipped to cook and we also enjoyed using the grill. We appreciated the designated parking spot as well as the cooler, beach chairs, towels, etc; the villa truly had everything we needed for a fun vacation.

This place is magic

We spent a wonderful time! We felt at home, we felt safe and the first night we felt the magic, the lights, the plants and the pool ( with lights as well) is unique. We could go around Tamarindo ( full of noise and people) but charming at the same time, but once get inside the gate is so calm and cozy. And you will wake up listening nature. The bedrooms upstairs ( each with a bathroom) and the 1/2 bathroom downstairs were a plus when traveling with kids.We met Jorge,( he is on charge of the place) and he is such q nice person!!! He is super helpful and we really enjoyed chatting with him.. You guys have a great house!! Thank you!!! Maria and and Hector

Tamarindo Christmas

Great property, loved location, property managers were always available and helpful. We rented a golf cart for ease of getting to beach and restaurants but very walkable which we also did several times. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses and pillows.

Perfect stay in Tamarindo!

Casa Colorado was the perfect place to spend our week in Tamarindo. The house was well equipped. We loved having the pool right out the front door. A/C units worked great. Extra comfy beds. Felt very safe, and love that Jorge the property manger was onsite. 10/10 would stay again!!

A great rental!

This is a great rental property! The villa complex is super nice and has a great pool. This villa has everything you need - fully stocked kitchen (pans, plates, etc) plenty of bathrooms towels, beach towels, boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrella. You’ll get sandy and muddy, but there is an outdoor shower. The property manager Sonia is a great help with the villa and booking tours, and Jorge took care of any issues we had with the villa. I would book this place again.

Fabulous villa for a family of 5!

We loved our vacation and where we stayed. Having the pool steps away made it so simple and relaxing. The showers, air conditioning, and laundry facilities kept us clean and comfortable. I loved being able to buy groceries and cook for my family, especially with my daughter’s keto diet. Jorge, the property manager, was friendly, prompt, intuitive, knowledgeable, and kind. He helped us arrange a couple of amazing excursions to horse ride and view nesting sea turtles. He suggested Guaitil as a cultural activity; my kids met Andy and learned about indigenous pottery making. The property is private and just enough east of downtown to be quiet without being too far to walk if you don’t have a car. We can’t say enough good things about our stay. We hope to come again soon!

Beautiful Villa

We loved everything about this Villa. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the pool just outside our door was definitely a bonus! The Villa was lovely and very well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, from plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and we loved the robes! Kathy was very quick to get back for any questions we had before our trip. Once we were at Villa, Sonia and Jorge, property managers, were so very friendly and helpful, from arranging airport transportation to recommendations of restaurants and answering any questions we had. The location of this Villa is a definite bonus as we did not need a vehicle. Tamarindo town and beach were about 10 minutes with grocery store half way! Everything about this Villa and its location was a definite 5 Star. We loved Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

We were a party with three teenagers and two adults and fit comfortably at this property! Having coffee and breakfast at our unit, out on the patio, was lovely. The grounds and pool were maintained daily but quietly and without the buzz of early morning equipment. I don't think you will sleep in, as the birds and other animals like to sing! Before arriving, I stressed about not being "on the beach," but I found this location perfect: within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. We didn't find a restaurant we didn't love. The grocery stores have everything you need, and several choices exist. The unit is well stocked with kitchen necessities, beach items, towels, and even extras like robes! Having laundry was useful. Sonia is delightful and informative! I highly recommend this rental! We typically like to explore new locations, but a week wasn't enough in Costa Rica, and we will stay here again!

Great spot for families!

We had a great stay in the villa in Tamarindo. Upon arriving, it was obvious the home was meticulously cared for. The attention to detail by the housekeeping staff was outstanding. (We loved the toilet paper flowers - Something you would find at a high end hotel/resort!). The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough towels for our family for the week, both pool and bathing. We loved that each bedroom had its own separate washroom. There was also a main floor powder room, which was a nice to have! The property manager, Jorge was super helpful and a wealth of information when we first arrived and throughout our stay. He has great recommendations. The grounds are well kept and the pool is amazing. Our kids, 8 and 10 would’ve lived in the pool, and spent almost all their waking hours at the villa there! We felt safe in the community. The location is great as it’s just close enough to the action of Tamarindo to be walkable, but just far away enough to be a calm and quiet respite from the bustle of the beach and town. As in most areas of Costa Rica, the roads around the villa are not paved - you’re only going to find pavement on main roads. We had a rental car and there is dedicated parking for the villa. As an added bonus, the villa had everything you need for the beach (chairs, sand toys for the littles, coolers, umbrella). Overall, we had an amazing stay and would recommend this property to anyone, especially families looking for a place to stay in Tamarindo!

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay in Casa Colorado! The townhome is perfectly appointed for a family of four, with a fully-equipped kitchen, all the beach and pool stuff you could need, and plenty of linens and towels. Having the most gorgeous pool right in front was also a huge bonus, especially after a day of surfing or excursions. When we left after our 9-day stay, we felt as though we were leaving our home! Everything in Tamarindo center was just a 10-minute walk away, and the Thursday night market, just around the corner, is not to be missed! Do not hesitate to book this wonderful home!

A slice of heaven

Thrilled to have had a chance to stay at this property. A friend recommended it to us based on their visit last year and it lived up to the hype. Plenty of space for our family of 5 and we all appreciated the supplies in the kitchen, the plethora of towels (and robes!) and beach accessories. Jorge was a great resource and such a nice guy. The girls loved the pool as much (maybe more?) than the beach but the location of the property allowed for us to walk to the many features of Tamarindo.We hope to return!Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the welcome book of recommendations was appreciated!

A perfect stay in Tamarindo

Kathy's place was the perfect base for our one-month stay in Costa Rica. Her home is charming, and the house is perfectly located in front of the pool which was great for us. A short walk to the main part of town and the beach. We loved it and would stay again.

Peaceful haven away from the crowds

We loved this place. Location is great. The managers Sonya and Jorge were fantastic. They went out of their way to find excursions for us and had great recommendations. Everyone was very responsive to our needs. Peaceful haven away from the crowds but close to everything.
