You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Entire villa in gated community, 2 Bd, 2 & 1/2 bath, pool, sandy beach.

I hope this is your base for all kinds of fun activities or R&R. This is our home away from home and I hope you view it as such. It's not a show home. Meant to be lived in. Lay on the couch after a fun day surfing or exploring.

This is a stand alone house, not a condo. No long hallways, no elevators. A fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath. In Costa Rica. We call it a Villa and that includes your own private parking stall just a few steps away. If you don't feel like driving, no problem as everything is within walking distance and really is a better way to enjoy Tamarindo and the friendly locals. The incredible beach is just 850 meters away. Over half mile of adventure in the heart of town.

Important Update - we have installed a back-up water cistern. VERY important especially during high season. You still need to be conscious of water use.

Main Floor
•Fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, blender, granite countertops, raised eating bar and a separate eating area with a table and four chairs
•Comfortably appointed living room, with a large sectional, entertainment system, flat screen TV with built in DVD and free wifi phone to make free calls to the USA
•Washer Dryer and sink in Laundry room
•Two piece bathroom on main
•Coat closet
•Expanded lanai by the entrance. Perfect for reading or watching the kids in the pool.

Upper Floor
•Master bedroom, with a queen bed, an en-suite with a tub / shower, independent AC, ceiling fan, and a balcony that overlooks the pool
•Second bedroom, with a queen bed and a double bed plus a twin bunk bed above the double bed sleeping up to 5, a full en-suite, independant AC, ceiling fan
The air conditioning system has independent controls for each floor as well as for each bedroom.

Wonderful villa!

This villa was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We loved having the pool right out the front door, and the gated community was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. There are dozens of restaurants (and shopping) within a 10-15 minute walk, and we enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees during our walks to the beach (about 15 minutes). The villa was fully equipped to cook and we also enjoyed using the grill. We appreciated the designated parking spot as well as the cooler, beach chairs, towels, etc; the villa truly had everything we needed for a fun vacation.

Awesome place, great layout

We loved staying in this place - it was the best of the four places we stayed during our two weeks in Costa Rica. The house had a great layout and was well placed right across from the pool. There were several great restaurants within a couple blocks of the places.

A great rental!

This is a great rental property! The villa complex is super nice and has a great pool. This villa has everything you need - fully stocked kitchen (pans, plates, etc) plenty of bathrooms towels, beach towels, boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrella. You’ll get sandy and muddy, but there is an outdoor shower. The property manager Sonia is a great help with the villa and booking tours, and Jorge took care of any issues we had with the villa. I would book this place again.

An oasis

A perfect stay in Tamarindo

Kathy's place was the perfect base for our one-month stay in Costa Rica. Her home is charming, and the house is perfectly located in front of the pool which was great for us. A short walk to the main part of town and the beach. We loved it and would stay again.

Tamarindo Christmas

Great property, loved location, property managers were always available and helpful. We rented a golf cart for ease of getting to beach and restaurants but very walkable which we also did several times. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses and pillows.

Perfect stay in Tamarindo!

Casa Colorado was the perfect place to spend our week in Tamarindo. The house was well equipped. We loved having the pool right out the front door. A/C units worked great. Extra comfy beds. Felt very safe, and love that Jorge the property manger was onsite. 10/10 would stay again!!

Tamarindo Getaway

This property was stupendous. The compound itself was gorgeous and very inviting. It was very private and quiet. The villa we stayed in was very comfortable and well equipped. It was a lovely spot. I have already recommended it to friends.

Peaceful haven away from the crowds

We loved this place. Location is great. The managers Sonya and Jorge were fantastic. They went out of their way to find excursions for us and had great recommendations. Everyone was very responsive to our needs. Peaceful haven away from the crowds but close to everything.

Great house in Tamarindo

Lee's condo was perfect. We stayed for 9 days the condo is a perfect location to town and we were able to get around with ease. The pool is right out the front door we really enjoyed. Margaritha was great always checking to see if we needed anything if we did she took care of it right away. We would stay again and would recommend to any one visiting Tamarindo.

Great Place!!

The house was so cute and cozy. Nice big master bedroom with beautiful large windows and a small terrace. The pool was steps out the front door. Nice and deep on one end which was perfect for our son. Communication was great and we would stay again.

Great location, great host!

We stayed here for 4 weeks and we couldnt have asked for a better host + location. We had 4 adults, (1) 4 years old, (1) 1 year old. The location is central so you dont need a car to get into town; the property is clean and well kept; Kathy is a lovely host with constant communication. The pool is right in front of the house which was super convenient for our family. If we're back in Tamarindo, we'd absolutely be staying here again.

Great home base

This property served as a wonderful home base for our week in Tamarindo. The accommodations were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and having the pool directly outside our door was wonderful! It was a short walk (10-15 minutes, depending on your speed) to the main beach area. Kathry was very responsive to my inquiries before the trip and Sonia and Jorge were very helpful at the property. We would definitely stay here again, should our travels bring us back to Tamarindo!

Great location and privacy

Wonderful peaceful spot. Managers were totally available using the Whats App application. Felt safe - a golf cart was a really nice addition as the walk Into town gets a little long (10 min) in the heat or with groceries etc. very convenient to stores, bank, restaurants, surf board and cart rentals. Really spotless property we felt like the only ones there! Awesome for families or quiet couples getaway.

Wonderful family trip

We LOVED our stay at Kathy's well-appointed home. It was roomy, clean, in a safe location, well stocked for cooking, and the pool was a nice retreat as well. We used it as a home base while we did some day trips - an ideal location for that as well. Sonia and Jorge were great to work with. If transportation is needed, Sonia is a tremendous help in arranging that. We highly recommend this property. Wish we didn't have to leave.

The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed down to the cozy robes. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning and a refreshing afternoon dip in the pool. The villa is conveniently located near a grocery store with a wonderful selection of fresh veggies, fruits, and prepared foods. There are so many restaurants to choose from and they are all wonderful. The beach is amazing and the water is the perfect temperature. Sonia and Jorge are readily available to assist. Perfect tropical getaway

This villa was perfect for us. Sitting on the deck in the morning, drinking coffee and overlooking a beautiful pool and hearing the birds sing just was a great start to each day. Everything we needed was in the house, it was well stocked and very clean. The property manager, Jorge, was extremely gracious and very knowledgeable of the area. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, about half mile or so on dirt roads, so be prepared & don’t wear new shoes! Other than that everything was perfect.

Had everything we needed and then some!

Fantastic vacation in Tamarindo 7/2-7/11. The house was stocked with everything we needed to have a worry free stay. Lee was great and made me feel very comfortable booking with him. I have booked through VRBO in the states, but this was the first time booking an out of country stay. Lee was very responsive and had everything setup before I arrived. The onsite property manager was expecting our arrival and was very accommodating while we were there without being intrusive. We can't wait to go back and will book Lee's villa again.

Tamarindo adventures

The house is perfect. Not one hitch. Margarita met us at arrival and reviewed everything for us. She was always helpful with rides and any requests. The pool at our front door was priceless. The bedrooms are large and the master has a deck overlooking the pool. The walk to town is not bad, however we chose to rent a golf cart. I’m planning on staying again in 1 month.

Beautiful Villa

We loved everything about this Villa. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the pool just outside our door was definitely a bonus! The Villa was lovely and very well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, from plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and we loved the robes! Kathy was very quick to get back for any questions we had before our trip. Once we were at Villa, Sonia and Jorge, property managers, were so very friendly and helpful, from arranging airport transportation to recommendations of restaurants and answering any questions we had. The location of this Villa is a definite bonus as we did not need a vehicle. Tamarindo town and beach were about 10 minutes with grocery store half way! Everything about this Villa and its location was a definite 5 Star. We loved Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Loved It

My family of five enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this property. It was clean and the location in the complex was perfect As it was right beside the pool. If you are renting a golf cart it was easy to park and charge. It was a ten minute walk to town. Be aware that coming home in the dark you are walking a block or two without lights around but felt very safe. Having three bathrooms for the five us worked out really well. The showers were great and water hot with great pressure. The property manager connected with us right away and answered any questions we needed. Very happy with our stay.
