"This was my first trip to this fine property and quite honestly, I could not imagine going to DaLat and staying anywhere else. The service was excellent, the room and the view was perfect, and the bar fixed just a wonderful Gin and Tonic. While sitting out on the expansive veranda during a soft summer rain that blew in, I felt transported back in time. I remarked to my fiance that I felt like I was in a Graham Greene novel. Just sitting there enjoying my G and T made the long trip to Vietnam worthwhile. We took advantage of the breakfast in the morning and the high tea in the evening. Everything about the hotel was just perfect. The room was great, the view was stellar, and food was wonderful. The manager, the assistant manager, and the front desk staff were all so nice and professional. The bellman were great as well. I can not thing of a single negative thing about this grand old hotel.. My only regret was that we only stayed for a couple of nights. When I return to DaLat you can be assured that I will staying at the Palace Hotel with all of its charm and elegance. "
