Good location as it is near bus station for traveling out from Cameron Highland to other part of Malaysia. Check in and out is simple and fast, the place is quite clean. Will come back
Even thought they let Orbitz/Expedia list as air conditioned it is definately not air conditioned. No units in rooms or central. Yes, it cools down at night but my room was almost 30 degrees. No fans. Also charged me 3 ringgit tourist tax despite having already paid it online. They did not understand the currency conversion. For budget tourists it would be ok but not worth the 130 ringgit off weekend price. Parking is on street and have to buy coupon book for parking

Hotel zentral gelegen, Zimmer geräumig, nettes Personal

The location was centrally located along the mail road. As I was assigned a room not facing the road and did not have a window, I did not hear any road noise. Tanah Rata is a small town so almost everyplace was within a few minute's walk.
The room came with two bottles of drinking water, coffee pouches, electric kettle and a tv which in addition to local channels a movie channel.
Consigliatissimo!
Easy to find parking..suitable for my small family..water heater work properly..room very clean and comfortable..maybe need to improve sound proofung at wall...overall good to stay
Frindly staff at reception. Good location near restaurants in the middle of the main street.
The orrm we had was windowless which took a while to get used to. We could have switched to a room with a window for an extra charge but chose not to.
Great small hotel perfectly located close to the bus station of Tanah Rata, its close to all amenities. Room was clean, staff was friendly

Lovely staff, poor room
The staff here are lovely and helpful, but we didn’t enjoy the room. It had no windows so was dark and claustrophobic. Despite being a non smoking floor, there was an ash tray in our room and also one the hallway and we kept smelling smoke in the room.
Shower only had freezing cold water.
Location was great, right in the middle of Tanah Rata and five minutes walk from the bus station.
Hotel Rose Crest Hill is in a good spot in the centre of Tanah Rata. It is easy to walk to shops and restaurants from her. From that perspective, the location is ideal.
With respect to the rooms, note that Superior Double Room does NOT have any windows. While some of the pictures indicate that they may, NONE of the Double (or Twin) rooms have windows. In these rooms there is no air-conditioning or fan; simply an extractor fan. When we walked into the room initially it smelled of smoke (even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room) but once the extractor fan was on this dissipated. However, the lack of air in the room resulted in one of the worst nights sleep either my partner or I had ever had.
We raised this issue the next morning. The reception staff were helpful and assisted us to (pay to) upgrade our room to the Deluxe triple room and move our bags for the remaining two nights of our stay. This room was lovely. It still did not have air-conditioning or a fan, however as it is quite cool in the Highlands having the window open was a fine option (albeit one that lets in the noise - including the call to prayer at all times of the day). The bathroom was functional and fine - note there is no shower partition so gets very wet.
The wifi worked well. The reception staff were helpful and polite, and gave good recommendations for the local area. Overall, would stay again ONLY in the Triple or Family rooms.

Ok to sleep
A bit noisy and no windows in the room but great location and the beds are ok to sleep
A very strategic hotel in Cameron. We can find food easily, especially for the Muslims. So many halal hawker's stalls, mamak's restaurant and even Starbucks. We can just walk around Tanah Rata to find food. They also have elevator in the hotel. We went to Cameron on Chinese New Year so the traffic jam was very massive so we decided to rent a motorcycle to visit around Cameron. The motorcycle we can just rent near the hotel. This hotel is very recommended.

Disliked: Room comfort
Small room with no windows
Was given the only room without windows on that floor. Both other rooms with windows were unoccupied throughout my stay. One of the benefits of booking and paying for a room in advance without looking at it first I suppose.
