"It’s true, the pictures do not do this justice! My husband and I spent 14 beautiful days at the Villa along with another couple. We were warmly greeted by the caretaker, Elias. If we needed anything, we communicated with him using WhatsApp. He even arranged for a Taxi to pick us up one evening so we could go out to dinner. "Great air conditioned place, across from the beach, but have to go through the resort across the street, just don't go in their pool, as I did. I did enjoy the modern home. Awesome except for the road noise, but I slept through it. I watched movies on the tv."

"Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. "Entire vacation was fantastic. Host / owner and staff could not of been more friendly. Location on the beach, two buildings with multiple bedrooms, common gathering areas and pool made this vacation a huge success for my six buddies and me. "What a wonderful stay! Casa Rector was an excellent choice for our family, my brother's family and my parents. The property was well stocked with everything we needed, including life jackets for our kids. Mirabel and Arturo, the on site caretakers are INCREDIBLE! "We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Tino the care taker was available 24 hours for anything we needed. He was amazing to deal with, friendly, respectful & kept the pool area clean everyday.
