Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat.

This is the cutest little place. The house is an older style home, but was very clean. The 4 room suite was adorable with a dining room, coffee bar, microwave and small fridge in the front room. The bathroom/shower was a separate room from the sink area. The bedroom was very spacious with a full size bed and armoire with a tv inside. The owners were so nice and accommodating.

The staff was outstanding, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we had dinner one night and the steaks were excellent. I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. This place has so much history and the aesthetic is subtle and pleasing to the eye. It has a slight rustic feel, and each room has a guest book with entries as far back as 1994. The owner is very kind and accomodating, she has two of the sweetest pups living there, and her menu changes daily. Breakfast is included with the stay and for lunch and dinner there is a tavern that shares the same property as the inn and it overlooks the river. This is definitely going to be one of our go-to places...

Love this hotel. Room so spacious it was perfect. The front person was so helpful. He helped us choose a restaurant and we loved it. And also told us about the meteor shower and that was awesome. We got to enjoy that, and all thanks to his help.
