While I loved my room (which was high up and overlooked the forest), it involved climbing some very steep stairs. Travelers with mobility issues should be careful about which rooms they reserve. I stayed two nights and wish that I had stayed three."

"Pros: 5 min walk from Matsumoto station, many restaurants within 5-10min walking distance that’s foreign friendly, brand new hotel facility (beds were firm, staff was very friendly, overall facility very clean), free breakfast (western and American options were available and it was all delicious!), late night snacks (ramen and ice cream) available Cons: depending if there’s a tour group or not - the small/medium sized breakfast area can be very busy until 8:30am and you would need to wait, shower curtain has a musty smell if not aired out properly Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again "
