Cozy, Clean, and Close to everything!

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and comfortable for us. The rooms are very clean and up to date! Great location and easy to get to things. We would love to stay here again in the future.

The ideal accommodation in Telluride is just a stone's throw away. Dine splendidly at Ania's table. There's no need to drive; everything's within walking distance. Plus, the gondola ride to the city or mountain top is a mere 3-minute walk away. Looking forward to come back.

Gorgeous Place in Mountain Village, Telluride

The 2 bedroom condo we stayed in was unbelievable. It had top of the line appliances, beds were comfortable, etc. On top of just being beautiful, the location to the village is steps away. We loved Lumber.

I was a little hesitant to book this place since it’s smaller than Madeline. Exceeded my expectations and delivered extra! We had such a beautiful stay at this property and will certainly be back.

Somewhat impressed

Lumiere lacks two things: 1) Inside food. No vending machines or eateries within the hotel, just a bar selling sushi and alcohol. Nearby hotels with restaurants are expensive (breakfast for two... $40-$50). And 2) No smoking. If you're not a smoker, you won't care about this, but Lumiere heavily discourages smoking anywhere near its premises by forcing guests to smoke out on a 4th floor patio with no ashtrays or smoker conveniences. Non-smokers will probably applaud this strategy, but if you smoke, Lumiere is smoker-UNfriendly. You WILL be made to feel like a second-class citizen.

The property is in a fantastic location with a quick walk to the gondola and several restaurants. The staff was kind and helpful. Our unit (3 bedroom) was in the least ideal location. We were wedged between the elevator, gym and front desk. It was so loud when people were talking at the front desk or elevator and when someone was running on the treadmill in the gym our entire condo shook. The unit was SO hot and the AC wasn’t operational. The pool was filled with dirt and bugs. Overall it was a very expensive trip where I was regretting where we booked. I think this unit is not worth the cost honestly. Overall we were underwhelmed.

Great location with a short walk to the Gondola. We truly enjoyed the intimacy of this small up upscale hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with recommendations on were to shop and dine in town. We loved every minute of our stay and plan on coming back to Luminere soon!

My boyfriend and I don't really take fancy trips because we just can't afford it on the regular. But we had a lot of money saved and decided to see if there was a deal on something in Telluride since we adore it and live a few hours away. My birthday is around Thanksgiving which doesn't offer much vacation opportunity and my bf has never had a real birthday before so when we saw a great deal for Lumiere, we just jumped on it. When we got there, we found out our room had gotten upgraded. We had booked a normal studio style hotel room and got upgraded to a single bedroom suite which felt like a surprise straight out of a 90s sitcom. Every single staff member was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and so very kind. I work in the service industry and their service was something I will absolutely take inspiration from going forward. And when we decided we would consider extending our stay, they even offered the same rate we booked the original room for even though it clearly was worth A LOT more than that. Just everything was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. It's a two minute walk from La Pizzeria in Mountain Village (which makes AMAZING pizza by the way) and a 5 minute walk from the Gondola into Telluride itself. Not only was the service amazing, the convenience of location was incredible too. I would definitely stay here again in the future, even if I had to pay the full price per night for the room. 10 out of 10 experience. The Lumiere is absolutely incredible.
