"A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. "

"Stunning space in a beautiful location. Quiet relaxing and calming. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a great local cafe for brunch. We could keep going with the positives! Alistair and Julie were very attentive and lovely hosts. Highly recommended. "

"Had a lovely Xmas eve through to Boxing Day, didnt get a chance to use the sauna unfortunately but log fire was lovely. Beds very comfy, but sofa bed quite firm.Andy very communicative and friendly Would recommend."

"We had a fabulous week staying in Pam's Plaice. It's a charming house, very clean, & really nicely decorated and appointed. We were given lots of info prior to the holiday & warmly welcomed. The mature garden is beautiful and the conservatory is a fab additional space in which to spend time. It has loads of really good quality kitchen equipment, serving dishes etc. You could tell that dogs were genuinely welcome but as it was so clean & fresh there was no hint of dogginess or animal wear &...

"We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of 4 and our plans. The reason for 4, rather than 5, stars was due to a couple of things. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew). "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected.
