"We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. Excellent!"

"This hotel is well situated in the city but is Spartan in the extreme. Literally one tiny bar of soap. Tired and damaged fittings and soft coverings. Wifi dial-up speeds."

"Umesh and Danushka of Clove Villa made our stay above and beyond what we were expecting. This was one of the best accommodations on our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka with rooms and villa hotel decorated beautifully with a fantastic peaceful pool area. The unexpected surprise were the meals as we found out Umesh was a chef who prepared the best meals we experienced on this trip. "Great experience staying in this Radison hotel in Kandy. Staffs services are excellent throughout and very attentive. Staffs are very friendly willing to help with a smile. They have variety of food and very tasty. Always staffs are very helpful and polite. We enjoyed the buffet. "

"The property and staff were all amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good. Getting a ride via pick me can take some time as not all drivers want to come up the hill. Make sure you a lot enough time for travel. We were going to be late for our train because a PickMe driver canceled. But the hotel made some calls and arranged for a quick Tuk Tuk ride and we made it right in time. "

The only negative does not relate to the hotel itself maybe more about the city of Kandy, its very nosey and busy, we were hounded by local traders and drivers all day which compared to other parts of the country we would not have the same experienceits "
