"We had higher expectations - and I don’t mean luxury. This is a very basic property, lacking many amenities you’d expect in a 3* star rated property (e.g. tea making facilities in the room) and maintained with little attention to detail. "The house is beautiful and the outside setting is amazing. One thing to note is that we were a group of 12 and 2 of the 5 rooms were completely separated from the main house. This is really not convenient with children, if you want to put them to bed earlier for example. They are on their own…
Another particularity that we found a bit annoying was that the kitchen and dinning areas is outside of the main house as well. It’s partly outdoor and as such does not benefit from Air Conditioning. Cooking was hard as the area became really hot really quick and even eating was tough with the heath. We were there early july.

"We had a lovely stay in Alcamo in October. Villa was large and very well appointed and Saverio the host couldn’t have been more helpful with some lovely gifts of food from his wonderful gardens and great recommendations on places to eat and things to see. Location is good central for most things but a vehicle is needed to reach the restaurants in town. All in all I would highly recommend if you want a real Sicilian experience👍"
